Gérard
CORTEY DUMONT, President of Best in France JuryGérard CORTEY DUMONT is a senior consultant and a former manager at a French "High Tech" company. He consulting experience extends to global organisations and institutions as well as large and mid-size organisations in France, US, UK, Switzerland, Canada, and Australia. A graduate of HEC School of Management, he founded a human resources management consultancy specialising in compensation, benefits and related employee communication. This company was acquired by Hewitt, the international human resources consulting and outsourcing firm, and Mr. Cortey Dumont played a central role in developing Hewitt's activities in Paris until 1994. From 1994 to 1996 he worked as an international consultant in New York eventually joining Towers Perrin, world leader in human resources consulting, as executive compensation practice leader (Paris) and European databases manager (London). His extensive compensation and benefits expertise attracted Gemplus (Geneva), the international smartcard company, where he served as VP compensation & benefits since 2000. Mr. Cortey Dumont is the President of the Jury and will help direct the Best in France project to insure that it's results will be appropriately structured and disseminated to achieve the project's goal to benefit the French business environment by conclusively demonstrating the best way of taking advantage of the "Best in France". Anderson, Managing Director, Fairvest ICXMr. Anderson is a leading expert on the problem of tax rates and infrastructural issues concerning foreign direct investments and its relationship to human resource management and international business. As a partner at Ernst & Young in France he brought more than two hundred firms to France over the past twenty years. He is the cofounder of the Best in France and Best in Ile de France Prizes. A graduate of New York University, Mr. Anderson was awarded diplomas in business (MBA), law (JD) and is a certified public accountant (CPA). He is a frequent contributor to the business press and is the creator of the Tax Misery Index, published regularly by Forbes.
